About Kareena Kapoor Khan

Kareena Kapoor Khan’s films on the Yash Raj Films and Red Chillies sites run from J. P. Dutta’s Refugee (30 June 2000) to Ra.One (2011). In Karan Johar’s family saga Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham (2001) she plays the irrepressible Pooja.

On screen

In Santosh Sivan’s Asoka (26 October 2001), from Red Chillies, she starred opposite Shah Rukh Khan’s young emperor. She is Sanjana in Main Prem Ki Diwani Hoon (2003) and Pooja again in Vijay Krishna Acharya’s Tashan (2008), with Saif Ali Khan and Akshay Kumar.

In Anubhav Sinha’s Ra.One (2011), the science-fiction adventure about a game character who escapes into the real world, she starred once more with Shah Rukh Khan.

Asoka was the epic of the young emperor, made by Shah Rukh Khan’s own company.

Our advice: watch Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham for her scene-stealing turn as Pooja.
