About ULTIMATE Mumbai City Guide

ULTIMATE Mumbai City Guide is an independent guide for visitors to Mumbai, India. We publish 14 curated lists: restaurants, cafés, bars, hotels, sights, museums & arts, parks, walks, shopping, health, property, developments, luxury cars and getting around. We cover Colaba, Fort and Kala Ghoda, Marine Drive and Churchgate, Malabar Hill, Worli and Lower Parel, BKC, Bandra and Juhu, with day trips to Elephanta, Alibag, Lonavala and Khandala, Matheran and Pune.

How we choose

Every place in our lists has been checked against its own website or an official source such as UNESCO, the Government of India’s e-Visa portal, the Reserve Bank of India, MahaRERA, the Press Information Bureau, MMRDA, the Archaeological Survey of India or Maharashtra Tourism. India has no MICHELIN guide, so we use no awards or ratings: we tell you what each place is and leave out anything we can’t confirm.

Opening hours, entry rules and timetables change often. Please check directly with each place, and with official sources, before you travel. Prices are in Indian rupees (₹).
